The Kentucky National Career Readiness CertificateTM (KY NCRC) is a proctored assessment-based credential that gives Employers and Job Seekers a portable and uniform measure of key workplace skills.
2.0: ACT, Inc. announced,
beginning June 1st, 2017, they are updating and renaming the core ACT WorkKeys
assessments which make up the NCRC. The updates include contemporary content
and more engaging graphics. Called NCRC 2.0, Reading for Information will be
called Workplace Documents; Applied Mathematics will be called Applied Math,
and Locating Information will be called Graphic Literacy, to more accurately describe the
skills it is assessing.
This site provides Employers, Job Seekers, and Workforce Professionals with information about ACT's WorkKeys assessments and the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC). The NCRC is an assessment-based credential that gives employers and Job Seekers a uniform measure of key workplace skills.
